Core Values

We are largely defined by 5 value prepositions

1. Empowerment

We equip members with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to sustainably grow food and manage land.

2. Sustainability

We promote regenerative practices that heal ecosystems, conserve resources, and combat climate change.

3. Inclusivity

We prioritize accessibility for underserved communities, ensuring race, income, or background are no barriers to land ownership.

4. Collaboration

Success is rooted in shared learning, cooperative decision-making, and community support.

5. Ownership

We believe land ownership is a fundamental right and a pathway to generational wealth and stability.

How We Work

Education & Skill-Building

Workshops & Training:

Free or low-cost courses on organic farming, permaculture, composting, crop rotation, and pest management.
Mentorship Programs: Pairing new growers with experienced farmers for hands-on guidance.
Digital Resources: An online library of tutorials, webinars, and planning tools accessible to all members

Cooperative Land Access

Community Gardens:

Start small with subsidized plots in urban or suburban areas to grow vegetables, herbs, or flowers.
Lease-to-Own Programs: Members lease underutilized land at affordable rates, with a portion of lease payments contributing toward eventual ownership.
Land Trust Partnerships: Collaborations with land trusts to secure permanent, affordable agricultural land for members.

Financial & Legal Support

Microloans & Grants:

Low-interest loans for seeds, tools, and infrastructure; grants for women, veterans, and marginalized groups.
Land Ownership Counseling: Assistance with navigating legal processes, zoning laws, and financing options.
Profit-Sharing Co-Op Sales: Members collectively sell surplus produce through farmers’ markets or CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) programs, reinvesting profits into the cooperative

Sustainable Infrastructure

Shared Resources:

Cooperative-owned greenhouses, irrigation systems, and processing facilities reduce individual costs.
Climate-Resilient Design: Training in drought-resistant crops, rainwater harvesting, and renewable energy integration.
